We believe in using our skills to create real change in the community.
ApplyIT is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Houston small businesses by building free, custom websites and producing podcasts that share their stories.
As a skills-based volunteering organization, we give middle and high school students hands-on experience in design, coding, and storytelling through real projects with local entrepreneurs. Our teams work directly with small businesses to create pro bono websites and digital content that help them reach wider audiences.
Alongside this work, we offer a structured curriculum that teaches these skills from the ground up. ApplyIT gives students the rare opportunity to turn their interest in technology into meaningful community impact, while helping the local businesses that keep our neighborhoods alive and thriving.
